VBCH Introduces The Pulse, a New Community Health Publication
Van Buren County Hospital is excited to introduce The Pulse, a new publication created to share helpful health information, highlight local providers and services, and connect our community with resources that support healthier lives.
The Fall 2026 issue marks Edition 001 and focuses on Fall Health and Prevention, with practical information families can use throughout the season.
Featured on the cover is VBCH Primary Care Provider Dr. Dana Brecount, who shares why preventive screenings are important at every stage of life and how routine care can help identify concerns early. Readers will also find information on keeping student-athletes healthy and safe, seasonal nutrition and hydration, getting back into healthy routines, and guidance on when to visit the clinic versus the emergency room.
The Pulse is published by Van Buren County Hospital as a community service and is designed to provide timely, relevant health education while helping our patients and neighbors learn more about the care available close to home.
