Parent Educator

Van Buren Parents as Teachers is seeking a career-minded applicant who desires a rewarding position working with families with children prenatal through five years of age. This position will provide in-home visits and group connections to families in Van Buren County. Applicant must have reliable vehicle and be able to travel to in-home visits throughout the county. Bachelor's degree or beyond in early childhood education or related field is required or four years' experience in working with children one-on-one and/or in a group setting. Parent Educators must be willing to attend certification training and complete 20 hours of continued education yearly. This is a part-time position 20-24 hours a week with the opportunity to go full time once case load is full. The position offers mileage reimbursement, IPERS, onsite daycare, and many other benefits!
