Infusion Nurse (RN)
VBCH is seeking a qualified RN to work in our Infusion and Wound Center. This nurse would be responsible for all aspects of patient care, including: treatment, obtaining prior authorizations, and completing patient follow-up. Must be comfortable working with a variety of providers to carry out patient orders. The right candidate will not only provide compassionate, personalized care to the patient, but also be skilled at working with family members who may be providing support at home. The right candidate must also be willing to occasionally float to Med-Surg or OR if numbers in the Infusion and Wound Center allow.
In addition to an Iowa RN license, BLS certification and the ability to get ACLS certified is required. Prior experience working in an Infusion and Wound Center is preferred. No nights, holidays, or weekends with this position.
