Maintenance Worker
Van Buren County Hospital is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to help our team maintain an environment that is safe, clean, and orderly for patients and our staff. The qualified applicant is responsible for general maintenance of the hospital and grounds. Duties for this position also include, but are not limited to, window washing, snow removal, lawn care, painting, monthly PM’s, daily work orders, and any renovations for the hospital and our 4 rural health clinics. The qualified applicant will also be able to organize work assignments, conform to health and safety regulations, and be flexible with work schedules as needed for the tasks. Applicant should have knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler operations, knowledge of industrial equipment, and carpentry. Must have a great attitude and take pride in the work that they do.
Qualifications for this position include a valid driver's license, high school education or equivalent, and basic computer literacy skills. Must be available to participate in an on call rotation with other maintenance staff members. Pay will be commiserate with experience.
