CardioPulmonary Rehab RN
Come be part of a growing department! VBCH is seeking a full-time RN in our Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department. A successful candidate will be able to utilize the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. The RN implements medically prescribed interventions and communicates results with the ordering provider and program medical director. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: patient management, meeting national and state guidelines, patient education, program management, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities also include: assessment of Cardio-pulmonary Phase 2 participants, developing treatment plans, supervising exercise sessions, and documentation. Current RN license is required, Bachelor's degree is preferred. Must maintain AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. At least two years of acute care experience is required, three to five years of acute care experiences is preferred. Candidate must be proficient in telemetry reading.
