House Supervisor

Core Duties
-
Oversee weekday clinical operations across all patient care areas.
-
Assess staffing and reassign staff to maintain safe coverage.
-
Provide hands-on support in ED, Med-Surg, Clinic, Infusion, and OR as appropriate.

Respond to emergencies and facility issues.
-
Address patient/family concerns when managers are unavailable.
-
Document staffing issues, operational concerns, and safety incidents.
-
Participate in quality, safety, and QAPI initiatives.
-
Support staff development and real-time coaching.
-
Lead weekday huddles and maintain communication with Nursing Leadership.

Complete daily House Supervisor Checklist.
Minimum Requirements
-
High School diploma or equivalent.
-
Iowa or compact RN license.
-
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
-
3–5 years clinical RN experience required.
-
Strong leadership presence and ability to support multiple departments.
