Respiratory Therapist
Are you a RRT or CRT who desires a position that will allow you to be a critical part of the care team? If your answer is an enthusiastic yes, then we want to talk with you! At VBCH our providers value the input of the RT team and RT is utilized on the Med-Surg unit, in the ED, and in our Rural Health Clinic. You will get the chance to utilize all of your skills, while forming lasting patient care relationships. This position consists of 3, 12-hour shifts per week. Your responsibilities will include: routine respiratory care procedures, PFT's ABG's, EKG's, Aerosol therapy, O2 therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator, holter monitors, cardiopulmonary rehab, charges, documentation and patient education.
Must have a great attitude and a desire to make exceptional, personalized care a part of your daily mission. Applicant must be an Iowa licensed RCP and must be willing to take rotating call. Individual must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS and Mandatory Reporter or be willing to obtain within 6-months of employment.
