Acute Services Advanced Care Practitioner (ACP)
Van Buren County Hospital is currently seeking a full-time Advanced Care Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospitalist and ED teams. The position includes primary hospitalist duties with an overseeing physician. The position will be on a 7 days on - 7 days off rotation. Experience as a hospitalist is preferred, however, interested candidates must also be willing to learn new skills. This role may also provide relief and or assistance to the Emergency Room provider occasionally and on an as needed basis. While on duty, the candidate will need to remain within 45 minutes of the hospital. On campus housing can be arranged if needed. The right candidate must have a strong desire to provide high quality care in our rural community, be a team player, strong communicator and have an attitude of service such that our patients will have an exceptional experience in time of need.
