Outpatient Treatment Center RN (Infusion & Wound Care)
The Outpatient Treatment Center RN provides nursing care for patients requiring ambulatory services including infusions, transfusions, and wound care. This position also supports care coordination, prior authorizations, and development of outpatient treatment services to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including infusions, transfusions, and wound care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Coordinate care with internal and external providers
- Obtain prior authorizations and ensure required documentation is complete
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care needs
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care
- Support development and growth of outpatient treatment services
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed RN in the State of Iowa or compact state
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Mandatory Reporter certification
