Food Service Worker

The Food & Nutrition Services team is seeking a friendly, reliable Food Service Worker to help provide nutritious, great-tasting meals for our patients, staff, and visitors.
In this role, you’ll assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, serving, and cleanup while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Responsibilities include:

Preparing and serving food in accordance with diet requirements and safety standards.

Operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

Assisting on the tray line and ensuring timely, accurate meal delivery.

Performing cashier duties, including collecting payments, making change, and balancing a cash drawer.

Helping prevent food and supply waste through careful portioning and organization.

Supporting other routine kitchen and cafeteria tasks as needed.
Schedule & Requirements:

Primary shift: Friday through Sunday, 12-hour shifts.

Must be available for occasional coverage outside this schedule if needed.

Cross-training in other Environmental Services and Support Services roles is required.

Prior food service experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
