Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time
Van Buren County Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical/Surgical team.
As a CNA, you will provide compassionate, hands-on patient care while working closely with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care. Primary Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and comfort
- Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful patient environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
Required
- Current Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Mandatory Reporter Training
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain per hospital requirements)
