IT Help Desk Tech
Van Buren County Hospital is seeking an IT Help Desk Tech to support daily technology operations across the organization. This position provides frontline technical support to hospital staff by assisting with help desk requests, hardware and software setup, Microsoft 365 support, phone systems, and general IT troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be organized and self-motivated, and work effectively with staff across all departments.

Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to Tier 1 help desk requests through tickets and phone support
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues
- Create user accounts and configure equipment during onboarding processes
- Support conference room audio/video systems
- Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of phones and phone systems
- Maintain and track IT equipment and inventory records
- Assist with installation and maintenance of data cabling and hardware
- Follow up on unresolved tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain professionalism and strong customer service while supporting staff and departments
Qualifications
- College degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted
- Previous IT support or help desk experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and as part of a team
