Clinic Nurse (RN/LPN/CMA)
This position supports outpatient clinic operations by assisting providers, preparing patients for visits, and ensuring efficient patient flow. Responsibilities are performed within the scope of licensure or certification.

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for clinic visits, including vital signs and medical history updates
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of practice
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Support patient flow and clinic operations
- Follow all clinic policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
Qualifications
Required (based on role):
- Active RN or LPN license in Iowa (or compact state)
- OR current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
Additional Requirements:
- CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level)
- Mandatory Reporter certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous clinic or healthcare experience preferred
Compensation
Pay is based on licensure and experience:
- CMA: $20.27 – $28.00 per hour
- LPN: $23.38 – $35.00 per hour
- RN: $28.71 – $39.00 per hour
