Chief Clinical Quality Officer
The Chief Clinical Quality Officer (CCQO) will report directly to the CEO and have strategic responsibility and operational oversight for all clinical departments of the hospital as well as the Quality and Support Services staff. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that VBCH consistently delivers top tier quality standards while providing exceptional patient care. This individual will concentrate on adding continuity across clinical departments by enhancing collaboration and communication throughout their portfolio. It is expected that they will have an in depth knowledge of compliance standards at both the federal and state level while also possessing an understanding and appreciation of continuous improvement principles.
Experience requirements: Must have a Master's degree (or higher) in nursing or other clinical discipline; 7+ years of clinical experience in a hospital environment; 2+ years of direct quality management in a hospital setting; 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital environment, preferably with at least 5 at the executive level. Preference will be given to candidates with CPHQ or related certifications.
