VBCH Foundation

The VBCH Foundation helps promote and support the healthcare needs of Van Buren County and its surrounding communities.

If you are interested in supporting the long-term health and vitality of Van Buren County, consider a gift to the Van Buren County Hospital Foundation. Every dollar donated goes directly to supporting the needs of the patients and families that utilize our hospital, including our daycare and programming operated by our Community Services staff.

The Van Buren County Hospital Foundation exists solely to support the work being done at Van Buren County Hospital. The Foundation supports the hospital’s mission of providing a superior experience to all patients and staff through the delivery of compassionate and personalized healthcare close to home. All gifts made to the Van Buren County Hospital Foundation are tax deductible.

There are many ways to support the important work being done at the hospital. If you have a particular interest area, we encourage you to speak with our staff about how your gift can be used specifically to support the work being done in that department. The Foundation also welcomes general gifts, and will utilize those to support the areas of biggest need as identified by the Hospital Board of Trustees and the Van Buren County Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Gifts can be accepted in many forms and we appreciate them all. Some of the common ways to support the Foundation are:

Currently, the highest funding priority for the Foundation is for a piece of equipment – Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS). This important tool will be used to provide the next level of breast cancer screening for women with dense breasts. Currently, patients who need the screening must travel close to an hour to receive the exam. Be making the exam available locally, we hope to encourage more women who should have the additional screening to receive it.
