Utilization Review/Discharge Planner, RN - Updated Posting
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our med-surg staff and make sure all patients are set-up for success during their hospital stay and upon their return home.
Van Buren County Hospital has an opening for a full time UR/DC Planner. This position will be responsible for ensuring our patients are set up for success during their hospital stay and when they return home! Excellent communication, teaching strategies, organization, and time management are needed in this role. This role will work very closely with our hospitalist as well as inpatient nursing staff. It is preferred that applicants have their RN degree. Previous experience with prior authorizations and insurance is also preferred.
