Inpatient/Outpatient Coder
Van Buren County Hospital has an opening for a PRN facility inpatient/outpatient coder.
This is an opportunity for an experienced coder to work a few extra hours a week. The qualified applicants will review inpatient and outpatient electronic clinical documentation and diagnostic results, as appropriate, to extract data and apply appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes. Duties will include assigning professional service codes for billing and entering charges on various account types. RHIT or CCS certification status is preferred. EPIC and 3M experience a plus.
