Van Buren County Hospital and Medical Centers is your door to good health. We pride ourselves on being your entry point to all of the services you will ever need.
The care we offer within our facility simply can’t be beat. Visit the “Our Providers” section of our website to learn why patients drive even from outside of our county to see our gifted medical staff... Our physicians and midlevel providers take the time necessary to take care of you!
Some hospitals try to be everything to all people. We strive for two things, and only two: 1. excellence in primary care, with emphasis on diagnosing what is needed, and 2. having in place the very best network to serve your medical needs, so that when we cannot meet your medical need, we have access to the very best physicians and service.
A component of our providing the very best care to you is how we get to know you – not just as a patient, but as the unique individual that you are. Our providers take time to know your previous medical history, what does and doesn’t work for you. They develop working relationships with the specialists involved in your care.
Van Buren County Hospital was the first network-affiliate of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC). Ours was the first hospital to offer a UIHC teledermatology clinic. We offer a total of 13 specialty clinics which are on site at least monthly. We offer onsite CT scanning, nuclear medicine services, digital mammography, echo stress testing, and many more services to meet your needs.
We are networked to UIHC and Mayo Clinic for teleradiology and lab referral services.
For personal, state-of-the-art, convenient health care services, choose Van Buren County Hospital – your entry point to good health.
